New Member seeking Constrictive Critique
Hello. I've been drawing Anthro Art for years. I've got my own little world and I write about it in a story called the Chronicles of Lowerground. Although this isn't a Fiction Community it's an art one so here is what I have to share.

Here’s my Deviant Art Page Prowler-Wolf
me showing off, sorry.Collapse )
However what I am desperate for feedback for is my WIP comic. I have never posted a comic up on the net before and I want to make sure I do this right, so any tips for improving this before I Finish inking and colouring would be a very big help.

Page 1 - Don’t encourage him!
Page 2 - I’m game
Page 3 - Game on
Page 4 - Game over
Page 5 - Hopeless (There is a royal family gag on this page, sorry if it causes any offence)
Page 6 - Have to go back
Page 7 - AHHHhhheee!!!

so the other night I was bored and kinda pissed off, and I started drawing just cuz I needed something to occupy my mind. I ended up with a crappy sketch of a fox girl. I went ahead and inked her, then colored her with markers. then I got the INGENIOUS idea to add fur texture with colored pencils... this is the first time I've ever tried that. I ended up with a picture I'm actually very proud of, and I'm really amazed it came out so well. ^^

so here's my RAVER FOX!!!!! enjoy!Collapse )

This is a character that's going to be appearing in a comic that I'm working on. He's Joshua Chase Carson, known as J.C., and is basically a smartass Jack-of-all-trades schnauzer. He's not so much an inventer as he's the guy you can give any type of blue prints to, and he'll build it. Anyways, I'd love to get any feedback and critiques about the art itself.

I haven't posted here much, but I was hoping some of you could help me out with a problem I'm having.

I like to draw, really, I do. I like to think I'm a bit better than some of the art seen on VCL and Yerf, and I love playing and testing my various pencils and drafting pens. Hell, I even have a couple of comic projects I'm tweaking right now. However, I have a problem with drawing.

I have little motivation to draw, hardly any at all.

Now, this might seem kinda strange, considering that I enjoy drawing, but unless I actually force myself to start, I simply don't, which, I don't understand. Perhaps part of it's a lack of discipline, which, I'll admit, I do have a problem with. But I think it's more then that. I'm always coming up with excuses not to draw (which, between work, school, and house work, that's plenty), and I know part of it is having that damned irritating little perfectionist voice in me that compares me to people far beyond anything I could ever make right now *coughDarkNatashacough*.

*sighs* I don't know what to do about it either, anyone else ever have this problem? If so, what've you done to counter it? I'd love to know.

*goes off to gather my sketch books for some hopeful work tomorrow*

Vrast cliffside

This is something I worked on last night for a couple of hours. I'm surprised with how well it came out, particularly considering that only the canyon background came from a photo, the stance and everything else was straight from my mind's eye. I've yet decided whether to color it or just shade it. Anyways, questions, comments, critiques would be welcome.

Oh, one last thing, if anyone has any ideas, methods, hints, tips, books to buy that would help me with learning shading with pen/pencil, that would be greatly appreciated!

hey there!

before school starts for me in september, I'm gonna have some free time and I'd really like to get some commissions done. please check out my site for examples of my work. unfortunately my site doesn't work well with internet explorer, so if you're using that, you can just go straight to the art page. I'd appreciate any job I can get, so if you have any need, please let me know! ^_^

(crossposted to several fur communities)

I "painted" this a few days ago... but haven't gotten as many comments as I had hoped (more than ZERO) on the other places I've posted it, so maybe you guys can poke at it a bit and help me figure out why people seem to:
  1. Ignore it
  2. Not like it.
So... thanks in advance.  Here's the link: http://ashieneko.f2o.org/art/2004-dragontaur.jpg

(PG-13:  Do not click if you are offended by topless, censored females.  The image will be removed by the beginning of September, but it will still be on my site.)

I've started making conbadges... Just like everyone else, but I really need some cash for MFF this year (I'm flying in from Georgia, so I need kinda lossa moonies X.x) and I thought I should try to start selling conbadges. I wated to know what you guys think of them, I really dont know if they're worth selling (though I am trying anyway.).
Here are two samples:

And I have an auction up on furbid if anyone is interested... (http://www.furbid.ws/cgi-bin/auction.pl?commission_gen&1091118267).
Thanks for comments in advance ^^

Commission update!
in a bout of overnight biddage, I now have two commissions likely to go for a sale!

Both of them are closing in 18 hours, so if you're interested, get in really quick and you might be able to get one!

The second commission is still cheapest, so if you're strapped for cash, that might be your best bet!

Here they are again

This one, (with a current high bid of $26 US)

This one, (still down at an easily affordable $15 US)

Don't let these pass you by!

Commission Auction.
Hey there everyone!

Many of you may not know me, but those of you who do will be aware that I'm an artist!

I'm auctioning off a commission at the moment to help me raise some money with which I can go to Sydney to visit my friend whom I miss sorely. It's been just too long since I've had someone to curl up on a couch with to watch movies till the wee hours, or even just to have a hug from.

So, If I can make enough money to afford the air fare, I plan on visiting him!

But that won't happen unless someone buys this commission!

so go and bid lots and if you win, I'll do you something really nice!

- Litho.

Yay first art post here!

This is something I drew a while ago, but finally posted it. I guess it counts as anthro.. because its not human? o_O Anyway, this thing is supposed to be growing out of the ground in some sort of cave. I have no idea what it really is.. o-o;

And.. not sure if its allowed, but I also drew a bunch of other things too. they're in my livejournal, and all as links right now. If you want to see how I draw in general, you can go check out there too. ^_^
